10 Video Game Remasters NOBODY Asked For
1. Days Gone Remastered
And finally, while the Days Gone remaster hasn't officially been announced yet, it's been reported on by enough credible sources - namely reputed insiders Jeff Grubb and Jordan Middler - that it's very clearly happening.
A remaster project that makes Horizon Zero Dawn's seem positively patient by comparison, Days Gone launched on PS4 back in April 2019 - just five-and-a-half years ago.
Unsurprisingly, the open-world action-adventure game still looks pretty damn spectacular, and so the scuttlebutt about an imminent remaster invoked its fair share of eyerolls from the gaming masses.
Again, it's painfully clear that Sony is putting out unasked-for remasters in an attempt to populate their light release calendar, though more than any other remaster on this list, it's tough to see this one being worth the investment that's been put into producing it.
Considering that the PS4 version of Days Gone already runs at 60fps in dynamic 4K on PS5 courtesy of a free patch, who exactly is this for?
