2. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
Sony recently confirmed the long-percolating rumours that a remaster of Horizon Zero Dawn was in the works, the announcement of which left the great many scratching their heads.
Even as video game publishers might try to convince us that seven-and-a-half-years is a damn long time - and certainly enough time to trot out a remaster - the original PS4 version of Horizon Zero Dawn still looks fantastic, and PS5 owners can already play it in butter-smooth 4K 60fps courtesy of a performance patch.
Sony and developer Guerrilla Games have attempted to sell the remaster as bringing the original game up to the glossier aesthetic standard of sequel Horizon Forbidden West, including shooting 10 hours of new motion capture data to make dialogue scenes more realistic, but fans generally don't seem dissuaded.
Even with Sony offering a cheap upgrade path for those who own the original version of the game, it's a tough pitch. The PS4 version still looks fantastic, and for all but the most die-hard Horizon fans, that's more than good enough.
