Learning from its past mistakes, Nintendo is ensuring all of its iconic characters are getting a chance to shine on the Switch, and Kirby's turn under the spotlight will come next year.
The all-devouring hero's next outing made its debut at E3 over the summer, showing off iold-school gameplay which marks a return to his side-scrolling roots.
The untitled Kirby sequel also includes a focus on co-op multiplayer gameplay, which is good news considering Nintendo is a master of this. Check out the New Super Mario Bros series if you're not convinced.
Due to arrive at some point in 2018, Kirby should be another worthy and timeless addition to the Switch's growing back catalogue.
