7. Disc Swapping
Disc swapping is something that PS3 owners stopped having to deal with upon adoption of the latest generation because Sony took the decision to print their discs on Blu-ray (a decision which played a large part in deciding the format war). Xbox 360 owners still have to deal with this irritation whenever they want to play Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and many other games. It upsets the flow of the game, and complete disrupts any sense of immersion the game has created. It's a trend that has been steadily disappearing since the physical mechanism to release the original black Playstation discs, was replaced by the electronic process to release Playstation 2 discs but won't fully disappear until the next generation of gaming, which I still believe could feature the disappearance of physical discs in their entirety.
