10 Video Game Villains That Made The Biggest Impact In The Smallest Time

8. Vaas Montenegro - Far Cry 3

Time On Screen: Approx 18 minutes

Right from that first game reveal, Michael Mando's Vaas had people busting out impersonations left, right and centre.

There was something about Mando's hispanic accent that felt effortlessly cool, and the way Montenegro subtly dominated every scene showed he had a blast in the recording booth, too.

However, for as much as Vaas would go on to exemplify the "image" of Far Cry 3; appearing in every trailer and being directly linked to protagonist Jason Brody, it was all for nothing.

In the final game, yes he pops up at the beginning and forms a crucial part of why Brody wants to avenge his captive friends, but he's taken out the running WAY to easily around the halfway mark.

Following a dream sequence and him collapsing, that's it. No giant reveal that Jason actually WAS Vaas the whole time, no comment on Vaas tribal ways being compared to how vicious Brody was becoming. He was in and out in less than 20 minutes.

Still, what a fantastic performance, and considering Vaas' place in gaming's pantheon of legendary evildoers, clearly Michael Mando did an excellent job.
