10 Video Game Villains That Were Totally Right

Generally speaking, the villains in Pokemon are about as sensible as the idea of sending off all ten-year-olds on a coming-of-age journey across the world with nothing but turtles, cats, and birds for protection.

And yet, there is one criminal organization that doesn't try to end the world for its own sake. Not only that, their goals and ideals are so rational, they give the good guys pause.

Team Plasma from Pokemon Black and White is a group that seeks to liberate Pokemon from being kept in tiny balls and used for dog fights between oblivious ten-year-olds.

Oh yeah, the core concepts of Pokemon have some rather messed-up moral implications, don't they? And yet no one until Team Plasma bothered to point them out (unless you count the endless Pokemon parodies on the internet).

Of all Team Plasma members, N, the leader, is probably the most notable for making you question if your fun Pokemon adventure is actually fun for everyone involved. Each time you meet him, he asks you something that makes you realize your Pokemon are not quite as free and happy as you think.

If you disagree, just think about how many Pokemon you turned into HM slaves.
