10 Video Games That Cost ALL YOUR FRIENDS

4. Among Us

Social deduction games are basically a cheat code for speed-running your way to a damaged, dented friendship, and never more so than in the brilliant Among Us.

The paranoia-laced survival game divides players into groups of well-meaning Crewmates and a few murderous Impostors, with the Crewmates tasked with figuring out who among them are the fakers.

By its nature Among Us implores players to trust no-one, examining the in-game actions of their friends under a microscope in an attempt to figure out who the liars are.

You’ll certainly learn a lot about your friends in the process, particularly their ability to shift blame and avert suspicion in the event that they are, in fact, an Impostor.

By the end of a harrowing session, you’ll likely never look at your buds quite the same way again, and perhaps even retroactively question their sincerity in the past.

If you want to know which of your friends are the most successful sociopaths, play Among Us for all of about 15 minutes.
