10 Video Games That Deserve Sequels
4. Brutal Legend
Brutal Legend surprised a lot of people upon its release. Appearing at first to be a simple hack and slash game based in a fantastical heavy metal world, the game delivered on this but additionally included a lot of real-time strategy elements. Although this did not necessarily drag down the quality of the game itself, it did take many consumers by surprise.
Despite the shock of these game elements existing within the title, it was successful and well-received by critics, currently holding a 9.3 rating from IGN.
So with a world this awesome, a well-liked core game and the talent of Jack Black behind it, it is peculiar that a sequel never came. The chance to return to the series could have ironed out a lot of the kinks of the first game and truly delivered a fantastic experience.
A sequel could have included more rock star cameos, better gameplay and a general tightening of the narrative. The recent reveal of Psyconaughts 2 with Jack Black could be promising, but it isn't very certain.
