3. Daxter Talking To Your Corpse - Jak & Daxter
Jak and Daxter is a series of action-adventure games about a duo of friends trying to save their futuristic fantasy world (yes, it’s basically like Ratchet and Clank, but the yellow furry guy is the sidekick).
Because Jak and Daxter are a team, when one of them dies, the other one obviously takes it pretty badly. And since you’re in control of Jak, you’re the one who’s going to get the brunt of the insults that follow.
When Jak dies, you get a cutscene in which Daxter laments over his dead body, hurling a wave of off-hand comments and jokes at his dead companion's expense. Some of these include Daxter chastising you for leaving him alone with his curse, telling you your corpse stinks, and asking if he can take all the awesome free stuff that your dead character has left behind.
The jokes just keep coming and coming the more you die, and you would almost feel angry at that smug weasel and otter hybrid if it weren’t for the fact he’s genuinely great at making them.
