10 Video Games That Knew You Lied

6. Cartman Knows How You Got The Basement Code - South Park: The Fractured But Whole

South Park: The Fractured But Whole takes a lot of pleasure in poking fun at the very nature of video games themselves, and specifically the requirement for players to go about objectives in a certain order.

This pays off quite hilariously in the game when you need to figure out the keypad code for Cartman's basement, which can be found in his journal.

But players who simply look the answer up in a guide will get quite the unexpected response. Upon entering the code, "307," Cartman will pop up in the top-right corner of the screen in the guise of New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and ream the player out. He'll say:

"Hey, Tom Brady, you wanna play the game or do you just wanna be known as a smug cheating b*tch the rest of your life?"

Try to enter the basement again without looking in the journal first and you'll get additional snide comments from "Bill," assuring players that their dishonest approach to playing the game has been duly noted.
