10 Video Games That Lock You Out Of The Best Content

Starfield is a divisive title, mostly thanks to how worn-out Bethesda's RPG game design has gotten. Still, while much of the game is flat and lifeless, there is plenty to love in this space epic, including the spectacular final boss. That's why it's so amusing that you can completely bypass it with a few choice words.  

During the game's final moments, you'll face off against either The Hunter, The Emissary, or both - depending on your choice at the end of the "Unearthed" mission. This bombastic encounter combines firepower with multi-dimensional travel as you teleport between areas you've visited throughout the game whilst battling your foe. 

It's thematic, action-packed, and captures the essence of your whole adventure. But you can skip it outright by persuading your foes to call it quits before the fighting begins. While this method is effective for reaching the end credits, it locks you out of arguably Starfield's best sequence.  

Just because you can avoid this encounter doesn't mean you should.
