7. Collecting Decapitated Heads - Space Station: Silicon Valley

In Space Station: Silicon Valley, you play as a microchip called EVO who’s been disconnected from its android body. To survive, EVO must insert himself in animal robots, and use their bodies to navigate through the galactic vessel. Because of the colourful designs, there’s no mistake this game is for the young 'uns. Even the scarier animals like the polar bears and scorpions look adorable.

However, there's one moment that takes an unnecessarily dark turn. During each mission, you have a series of simple tasks to perform - Deactivate an electric fence, destroy a computer, hug something fluffy, etc.

But in the Ice ‘N’ Easy level, your mission requires you to... find human heads. As disturbing as that sounds, the reason why is worse. You see, these noggins belonged to the professors who oversaw the station. After the cuddly androids went berserk, they decapitated the scientists. (Reminder - this is a kid's game.)

According to EVO's mission log, you must collect these heads to extrapolate data from their brains to operate the space station.

But wouldn't it have been simpler if EVO had to collect data files? Or a folder? A manual? Instead, the developers thought "collect preserved lopped off heads" was the way to go. Despite this grisly mission, Space Station: Silicon Valley managed to secure an E For Everyone rating!
