10 Video Games That Prove The Wii U Is Far From Doomed
9. Kirby And The Rainbow Curse
Wii U has already proved to be a very inviting home for 2D platformers with titles like the seminal Rayman Legends and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. All that's missing is some Kirby and Nintendo is set to give Kirby fans their fix of pink, fluffy platforming goodness in 2015. Drawing inspiration from Kirby Canvas Curse on the DS, gameplay largely consists of using the touchscreen to draw a path for Kirby to walk on. It's a simple concept, but things soon get complicated when navigating through water currents and spiky mazes are thrown into the mix. To add a bit of variety to the gameplay, Kirby will be able to transform into a rocket, submarine and even a god damn tank, making him perhaps the only gaming character in history that can still look adorable while being a fully armed killing machine. Kirby And The Rainbow Curse is due out in 2015 and is a must-play for Kirby fans, platforming fans or anyone that likes their games to be bright, charming and endlessly colourful with catchy music that you'll be humming (and annoying everyone you know with) for years to come.
