10 Video Games That WANT You To Rage Quit

Should you pick the genocide route for the whimsical yet dark Undertale - where you just murder every single person you come across for the entire game, even if they give you the option to stop - the story will quickly turn against you.

And with some fairly good reason. After all, it's pretty clear that you are the new villain of this adventure, since nobody else is running around the monster's world leaving a monumental path of death and destruction in their wake.

This in mind, you're given the hardest boss in the game to overcome in order to finish this playthrough: Sans. While a loveable lazy skeleton in any other playthrough, he quickly shows his true, deadly colours in this one, after revealing that he is the only other person aware of the fact you can use saves, and thus aware that, by being an insanely difficult boss, he might convince you to just give up, since killing you once stops nothing.

As such, this fight is legitimately insanely difficult, throwing in just about every fighting mechanics you've seen before - generally with two or three appearing at the same time. But, since you've murdered a whole cast of friendly faces, you sort of deserve this encouragement to rage quit.
