10 Video Games Transformations That Will Make You Sick

4. The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt - Dettlaff's Dungeon

Grossness in the Witcher universe (Witcherverse?) is nothing new. In fact, next to the nudity and gory combat, it's practically hand in hand. It would take a lot to make a seasoned player sick, is what I'm getting at.

Well, credit to The Wild Hunt expansion, Blood & Wine, for giving it a damn good go then.

The long and short of the DLC is that Geralt has to kill the higher vampire Dettlaff, or at least subdue him for another vampire to kill him. The fight starts quite normally, with the Witcher having a sword against claw battle.

The second phase, though, sees ol' Detty transforms into a man-bat monster. It's a pretty gross transformation, but nothing we're not used to.

It's the third stage, however, that starts to unsettle the spirit. The battleground is encompassed by what can politely be described as "the inside of a veiny organ". That's not a euphemism, mind. It's just the best way to describe it.

By this point, Dettlaff is less vampire and now more disgusting vampire/monster amalgamation. Gone is the stoic vampire, replaced by this red blob-thing of rage that really needs stopping.
