10 Video Games Whose BEST Versions Are On Switch

1. Minecraft

Devil May Cry 3
Nintendo

At first, many assumed Minecraft was simply a passing fad. But after witnessing the sandbox title tapping into the zeitgeist of the gaming community, it was clear Minecraft was the next big thing. Any system that didn't have this money-making title was going to lose out.

But when Mojang's masterpiece was announced for the Switch, the news didn't exactly set the world on fire. I mean, it isn't the first time Minecraft has come to Nintendo. It isn't even the second time! So, if you already have blocky adventure game, is it worth getting it again for the Switch? And the answer is "absolutely".

Remember when Minecraft first came out and everyone was playing it on iPads and smartphones in restaurants, bus stops, and airports? You can do that again but with a better range of controls and on a wider screen.

Nintendo also sprinkled this port with exclusive textures and packs including 40 Super Mario skins and some of the most iconic tunes from Nintendo's library. As you jump on Koopa Troopas, swim through Cheep Cheep-infested waters, and smash Goombas while listening to the Super Mario 64 soundtrack, it's hard to believe this is simply a Minecraft port and not a separate spin-off.
