10 Video Games Whose BEST Versions Are On Switch

2. Bayonetta 2

Devil May Cry 3
Platinum Games

Bayonetta is as over-the-top as games get. The titular witch's high heels have guns. She performs spells by stripping. She spanks demons before crushing them in a meat grinder. Bayonetta may be ridiculous but it's also awesome. But since it is chock-a-block with scenes of oversexualization and dismembered deities, it was no surprise when the hack-and-slash wasn't released on Nintendo's family-oriented Wii U.

But not only did Bayonetta come to the Wii U five years later, its sequel was made a Nintendo exclusive. But because the console sold so badly, few people got the chance to play it.

Thankfully, Bayonetta 2 came to the Switch, allowing a whole new audience to appreciate PlatinumGames' vastly superior sequel. Having the game on Nintendo's latest console felt necessary since the Wii U version occasionally struggled to maintain 60fps. This was infuriating as it compromised the player's ability to perform certain combos and counters. Thankfully, this isn't an issue on the Switch at all, even in handheld mode.

Considering the game is still unavailable on any system outside of Nintendo, getting a Switch just for Bayonetta 2 is totally worth it.
