10 Video Games With The Most Endings

4. 428: Shibuya Scramble - 87 Endings

Star Ocean The Second Evolution
ChunSoft

The easiest way to paint a portrait of 428: Shibuya Scramble is to explain its endings. The game has eighty-five bad endings, one normal ending, and one good one. Just to repeat the important part of that: there are eighty-five bad endings.

And, if you want that sweet sweet Platinum, then guess what: you're going to see every. Single. One. Hope you like watching people get killed or arrested!

But then, for anyone familiar with ChunSoft games, this level of wildness may not be all that surprising. In fact, in many ways the story of 428 is less complicated than its various endings would suggest, as you merely control the lives of five protagonists. The decisions you make as one character can affect the others, which is often what leads to a lot of the more complicated bad endings - as you do what appears to be a completely innocuous choice, that has serious impact for another character you weren't thinking about.

Although you're seriously unlikely to get all these endings without some kind of walkthrough by your side, it's well worth it just for the bragging rights alone.
