10 Video Games You Can Expect At E3 2020
1. Uncharted 5
A new Uncharted game is being made at a new Sony-owned studio in California. The company has yet to make any mention of the new studio, or that it even exists, but Colin Moriarty did mention it on his Sacred Symbols podcast. And Moriarty is as trustworthy a source on PlayStation as you'll ever find.
We have no idea what the game will be but we can assume it will continue on from the ending to Uncharted IV.
Spoiler Alert!
The ending leaps forward more than a decade to find Nathan Drake and his wife Elena working as legal treasure hunters/archaeologists. They now have a daughter named Cassie, and the game ends with Drake starting to tell her about his escapades.
It's a wonderful ending to one of gaming's very best series'. However we kinda always knew it was more of an ellipsis than an ending. Sony were never going to let the cash-cow that is Uncharted remain dormant forever, we just didn't expect a return so soon.
While Naughty Dog have left the series behind and moved on to The Last of Us Part II, this mysterious new studio has taken the reigns. Don't expect a release date though, this is probably a 2021 release at earliest.
A reveal is likely however, as Sony will want to convince everyone to buy a PlayStation 5.
