10 Video Games You Can Expect At E3 2020
7. Rocksteady's Next Project
For one more god damn year, we'll be forced to write and speculate about what Rocksteady is working on.
It seems every single year we go into E3 postulating about what Rocksteady is working on. Is it a Batman game? A Justice League game? A Ninja Turtles game? A Suicide Squad game? We've heard every possible DC-related rumour. Well, it's been four years since Batman: Arkham Knight, and will be five years by next E3, and we still have no idea what the British studio is creating.
With any mercy from the gaming gods we won't have to wait too much longer. Ideally, the game will be revealed at PSX or The Game Awards in December but at this point it seems the studio may just hold off until E3 2020 to reveal their presumably next-generation title.
To be honest, such secrecy around a game is often pointless and silly because it creates unrealistic expectations. At this point, if Rocksteady's next game is a Justice League title on the quality level of Red Dead Redemption II, people are gonna be pissed.
Rocksteady very well may have shot itself in the foot already, but regardless we're excited to find out what it is and put this saga to bed.
