10 Ways Grand Theft Auto Lied To Us

5. Heists Are Coming...

The Fountain Of Youth, El Dorado, Blackbeard's Treasure, the Roanoke settlers, and Grand Theft Auto Vs heists. All of these mysterious and probably completely made up legends have tempted people to venture forth for centuries. Luckily, with the advent of the modern age and our powerful level of technology, we no longer need to pack one hundred donkeys full of hard biscuits and wander Panama for six years to possibly, maybe find El Dorado, but actually find only disappointment and syphilis. Now we can wait at home! We can sit comfortably in our houses and carry on the belief that Grand Theft Auto Online will have the heists that have been teased, and promised, and pushed back, and withdrawn on so many occasions. Certainly they'll arrive when the latest generation version of Grand Theft Auto V arrives, right? It's practically certain that Rockstar are just saving them now, ready to push a whole new console market into Grand Theft Auto Online and pull back the non-believers using the allure of heists, surely? No matter how unconvinced we are, it seems impossible that Rockstar are incapable of the feat, as they have succeeded so fantastically elsewhere - both creatively and technically. That leaves the only real possibilities that Rockstar have simply being lying all this time and Heists were scrapped months and months ago, or Heists have been ready for a long time and some suit over at Rockstar's bizdev department has decided that withholding content is the best way to keep fans hungry. Unfortunately for him/her, they are completely wrong, and it's simply the largest nail in the crucifixion of GTAO.
