10 Weird Games You Won't Believe Exist

4. Seaman

Seaman is a legendary game for the Dreamcast, in which the player can look after and converse with a human-faced, fish-like creature. The game came with a microphone attachment, which allowed Seaman to 'listen' to the player and give responses based on voice recognition. The voice recognition and AI responses actually worked rather well considering the game was released fifteen years ago. The responses of Seaman were also hugely entertaining, as he'd discuss philosophy, crack jokes and even insult the player. Everything about the game was just weird, from the narration by Leonard Nimoy to the bizarre appearance of the creatures in the game. It didn't go over well with American audiences at the time, and the game's sequel saw a Japan-exclusive release. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIp-E5jWKa4#t=274
