10 Weirdest Video Game Boss Battles

For many fans of the first Arkham game, the Scarecrow sections were a definite highlight. A big part of the appeal came from the fact that you had no idea (at least on the first playthrough) when he was gonna strike next, his infamous fear gas sending you on a bit of trip. 

One minute you'd be making your way through Arkham Asylum, tracking down the Joker, and the next minute you'd be darting across some hellish mindscape, trying your best not to get impaled by a giant Scarecrow with searchlight eyes and massive needle fingers. It was always a truly terrifying experience, and one that was really set apart from the rest of the game. 

And if being made to see your dead parents in body bags doesn't weird you out even a little bit, then clearly you have something of a problem yourself.
