http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA99I2keowU Fahrenheit is a strange game from minute one; we play Lucas Kane, an IT guy who ends up being possessed and killing a man in cold blood for no seeming reason at the very beginning. He then ends up on the run from the cops, before gaining supernatural powers that allow him to fight like Neo from The Matrix. It's weird yet ludicrously entertaining stuff, and in the game's third act, it all goes downhill, reportedly the result of a rushed development window. Basically, Carla Valenti, the spunky copy chasing Lucas, ends up falling for him, in a series of scenes that just feel horribly forced and tacked on - again, because the game had to be shortened due to the rushed development cycle - culminating in a ridiculous (not to mention gratuitous) sex scene. Carla even declares to Lucas, "I love you," which is hilarious given that about half an hour earlier, she was still doggedly chasing him down, and it's made even creepier by the fact that Lucas is actually dead at this point, so she's a necrophiliac, too. At the climax of the game's good ending, Carla's pregnant, putting another oddball exclamation point on this baffling story.
