10 Worst Pokémon Video Games Ever
4. Pokémon Channel – Gamecube
Possibly the shortest, most pointless Pokémon video game of all time has to be the tragic Pokémon Channel that sees players wandering around following painfully obvious clues to build a relationship with an adopted Pikachu and watch terrible TV programmes made by Professor Oak – doesn’t that sound like fun?
No, is the simple answer, it does not sound like fun, and it most certainly was not fun to play given there were around 30 minutes of content to play through per day. Oh, did I forget to mention the game knew what day it was and drip fed you content drop by minuscule drop?
Basically, this game was a painfully slow attempt at introducing younger players to the Pokémon universe when popularity began to wane after Ruby and Sapphire. How best to do this? Give them a Jirachi as part of some stupid end game event that requires an expensive peripheral GameBoy Advance link cable to download. Thanks Nintendo.
