10 Xbox Exclusives That MUST Come To PS5
6. Avowed
Why we want it: A first-person, high-fantasy RPG from Obsidian should have been a slam dunk. Xbox players love deep, lore-heavy games like Skyrim, Elden Ring, and Dragon’s Dogma. Avowed checks all those boxes. But its release was buried under bigger name Game Pass releases, specifically Oblivion: Remastered and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - it didn't stand a chance, not to mention it was fairly quaint in comparison.
On PS5 though, it could find a fresh audience it didn’t quite get it the first time around, with an already installed fanbase for The Outer Worlds, and Grounded's recent success - it confirms their is an audience over in Playstation land for the developer's output.
How likely is it? Tricky. Xbox likely saw Avowed as a prestige Game Pass title, but it arrived without the buzz. If Microsoft chooses to now, only port proven hits, this might not cut it.
But then again, Hellblade 2 is on its way to PlayStation, and that didn’t exactly set the world on fire either. If Xbox continues down the path of broadening its third-party presence, Avowed still has a shot. Plus, its game director awkwardly shuffled in her chair when asked about it...
