11 Most Disappointing Video Games Of 2016

1. No Man's Sky

No Man's Sky
Hello Games

Despite the fact Hello Games finally got a game-changing patch out some four months after launch, as far as gaming is concerned, No Man's Sky is the biggest blot on 2016 overall.

At this stage, newborn babies are springing out of the womb knowing that 'Sean Murray' and 'lied' go hand-in-hand like Christmas and Chris Rea, the tale of how the game was revealed standing tall as a shining example of How Not To Market A Game.

From misled consumers who thought they'd be able to meet up with others in-game, to those who still played hundreds of hours only to realise "What was at the centre of the universe" was literally the game resetting itself (yes, really), No Man's Sky is one of the most disappointing games of not only 2016, but of all time.

Still, none of this means you shouldn't give it another chance.
