11 Things Microsoft Wants You To Forget About The Xbox One

1. All Of 2013

So looking back on everything they've started doing right in the months since Don Mattrick left and fan-favourite Phil Spencer took the reigns, it seems 2014 has been a much better year for the console overall. With the biggest negative talking point in relation to all the online policies being that they would be enforced by asking consumers to make sure their consoles 'checked in online' every 24 hours, the rest of the year played out in complete favour of Sony, with Nintendo and the Wii U sitting on the sidelines. So far this year Microsoft have stuck to rolling back this online check-in, re-allowing you to share games with your friends, and they even managed to have a good show at E3 that was 100% about upcoming games, albeit many that weren't exclusives. The latest reports show that even the 3DS has had a resurgence, beating the Xbox One despite these slow turnarounds, but the PS4 remains far away in the lead overall. If all of the above things were wiped clean and all you knew of the Xbox One were the fixed features and released games, would you buy one? Let us know in the comments!
