11 Unannounced 2014 Gaming Sequels That Will Sell Millions
2. Fallout 4
Plenty of games have been the subject of rumours and leaks so far this year but Fallout 4 continues to be the game everyone wants to see. A 2014 release seems unlikely (some reckon that Bethesda won't even make a solid announcement until 2015) but we can always hope. It's been far too long since we've stepped into the post-apocalyptic surroundings of Fallout's America with 2010's Fallout New Vegas being the last instalment in the series. At one point, an announcement seemed imminent but the website Survivor 2299 turned out to be a very elaborate and well-made hoax. All we have is some leaked documents detailing some minor plot details and the setting - Boston. Still, it's at least confirmation that Bethesda is working on Fallout 4. The wait will undoubtedly be worth it though. Fallout 3 made some drastic changes to the turn-based originals (for starters, it became a fully 3D first-person game) which upset original fans but opened the Fallout universe to the masses. Fallout New Vegas followed shortly after but was more of an expansion than a fully-fledged game with new ideas. Still, both games were a great mix of FPS and RPG elements and maintained the series' trademark humour and freedom; you were free to level and explore as you see fit (well, to a certain extent). If Bethesda has been working on Fallout 4 for several years now, the results could be breath-taking. It took at least three years for the company to develop their last major project, Skyrim, and given the immense success of that title (both critically and financially), the sky could be the limit for Fallout 4. Just please don't keep us waiting forever Bethesda don't treat us like the last company on this list, whatever you do.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
