11 Unannounced 2014 Gaming Sequels That Will Sell Millions
5. Forza Horizon 2
The transition to new hardware hasn't been easy on Turn 10 and Microsoft's premier racing series Forza. Forza Motorsport 5 received significantly lower review scores than its predecessors (good scores but definitely lower) and developers Turn 10 were openly criticised for including less content in the game, as well as introducing a higher focus on micro-transactions into the game, despite improving the already stellar gameplay and graphics of the series. So it's fair to say that the next instalment in the Forza series is hugely important; a second disappointing release might tarnish the series' reputation for good. This burden looks set to fall on the sequel to 2012's Forza Horizon, according to various leaks and rumours. Happily, Forza Horizon was a fantastic addition to the Forza universe, focusing more on the sheer exhilaration and fun of driving fast cars than the technical details and fine tuning of Forza Motorsport. With a new 'Deep South' setting to explore and (hopefully) a whole bunch of new cars to thrash around, Forza Horizon 2 could potentially be the first must-have next gen racer. The real thing is undoubtedly a lot more fun but staying in and getting the virtual experience is a lot safer. Swings and roundabouts.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
