In Hades, you play as Zagreus - a demi-god who attempts to escape the underworld to reunite with his mother on the surface. But because this terrain is hard as hell (literally and figuratively), you'll die at the hands of demons, monsters, minotaurs, and hydras dozens of times before you reach the exit.

As you traverse through the labyrinth-like Temple of Styx, you may stumble upon a room that harbours a teeny-weeny rat called Tiny Vermin. Although Zagreus bursts out laughing at the prospect of battling a household pest, he soon learns this creature is not to be trifled with. Every couple of seconds, the little critter summons giant rodents who keep spewing poisonous goo. If you make contact with any of these puddles, they'll sap your energy at astonishing speed.

Because Tiny Vermin can conjure an endless supply of minions, you should focus on killing him asap. But if you neglect to kill the other rodents, they'll cover the whole room with draining puddles, causing you to lose health every time you take a step.

Even if you defeat the Tiny Vermin, you will have so little health, your adventure will most certainly be cut short before reaching the surface.
