11 Video Games That Have Already Been Delayed In 2021

As the months roll on, it's clear that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has entered some kind of development hell.

The long-awaited follow up to the cult-classic RPG Bloodlines, this sequel should have originally been in the hands of players for over a year now. After being announced in 2019, the plan was to launch in March of 2020, which obviously did not happen.

It was delayed until the first half of 2021, but then a few months later the developers announced that they, like so many others, had encountered unforeseen issues with production due to the pandemic, and could no longer commit to hitting that target.

Things have only gotten worse for the game in the months since. In February, a major overhaul was confirmed by the publisher, as the original developers were kicked off the project and a new studio was brought in to finish up production. As a result of the huge shakeup, pre-orders were stopped and no new release date was given.

We'll probably have to wait a little longer to know what the hell went wrong, but we might be waiting even longer for Bloodlines 2 to actually come out.
