2. Christian Bale - Solid Snake Or Big Boss (Metal Gear Solid)

One of the most anticipated video game adaptations to date is that of Hideo Kojima's enormously cinematic Metal Gear Solid franchise. After all, with its dense narrative and deep characters, this would surely result in one of the smoothest transitions from game to movie ever, right? Though it would certainly be a challenge to adapt the complex, even convoluted nature of a 20-hour MGS game down into a 2 hour movie, the biggest question for most would be: who would play Solid Snake? Yes, we'd all love to see his former voice actor David Hayter give it a shot, but considering he's now been booted out of the franchise, they have even less of a reason to cast someone known for their voice acting in a live action role. Christian Bale has been rumoured for the part for years, and though he's shot down these rumours in the past, if the casting directors have any sense at all, they'll badger Bale, who is a fan of the games, until he say yes.
