This one's a bit controversial, given that Ellen Page herself was reportedly pretty mad that Naughty Dog opted to use her likeness for the vulnerable 14-year-old Ellie in The Last of Us, so she probably doesn't want anything to do with a movie role, right? Well, look at it like this: what better way to make it up to Page than to offer her one of the lead roles in one of cinema's most anticipated video game adaptations? Maybe bump her salary up a little to compensate for the likeness theft thing? There is the unavoidable issue that though Page looks a good deal younger than her actual age, she can't realistically pass for 14, and frankly, that'd just be a little creepy anyway. Though Ellie's youth is key to her vulnerability and the protective attitude towards her that the gamer takes, they could probably get away with making Ellie 18 or 19 years old without ruining the story.
