The crossover that literally no one asked for yet secretly wanted, MK vs DC still holds up today as a fun and classic beat em' up. It's more muted in terms of gore and violence unlike previous entries in the Mortal Kombat saga, but the gameplay is just as fluid and fun as everyone knows it to be. The story is completely ostentatious and ridiculous in every sense of the word, but considering the premise the game is trying to sell, is more than appropriate. The game features a roster of 22 heroes and villains to choose from, carefully selected from both the DC and MK universes. Pitting them against each other is a bunch of fun, and can even help in recreating some classic showdowns like Batman against the Joker. It may now be somewhat obsolete thanks to the wondrous Injustice: Gods Among us, but it's still worthy of commendation.
