One of the many things that's helped Andrzej Sapkowski endear thousands to the tale of The Witcher, Geralt of Rivia - alongside delivering what's essentially turned into the video game equivalent of Game of Thrones - was in writing mature and relatable characters - despite the fantastical setting they found themselves in. The fact that Geralt hunts gargantuan beasts for a living and Triss is a powerful spellcaster matters not when the two of them are together, leading to a certain bathhouse sex scene going down in gaming history as when this sort of thing was done just right. Triss and Geralt effortlessly give off that vibe of knowing they're destined for each other, and even though The Witcher 3 is going to see more from fan-favourite Ciri potentially sidling up next to Geralt instead, there's no denying both he and Triss' long-term relationship you've spent hundreds of hours in the company of is destined to stand the test of time regardless.
