4. Drake & Elena - Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Soon to hopefully be further explored in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Drake's puppy-dog affection for the hot-stuff starry-eyed reporter Elena is straight from the silver screen. What actually excels the performances of both Nolan North and Emily Rose is their human quality, and the little moments that are so relatable to anyone who's been in a relationship - such as noticing when your ex-partner has moved on, how they behave around you versus the rest of the world, and how you suddenly become aware of everything you're saying etc. Naughty Dog really have this knack for writing exemplary characters you instantly care about, and when Uncharted 2 opened up and Drake appeared to be with the temptable Chloe rather than Elena, you couldn't help but ask the question of what had gone wrong following the closing credits of the first game. Luckily the team knew exactly what they were doing, and with a memorable 'meet the new boyfriend' scene in the middle of Among Thieves' runtime alongside some great moments in Drake's Deception that knocked the whole thing out the park, Drake and Elena's silver-to-small-screen romance is one of the many reasons the franchise is so popular.
