6. Murdered: Soul Suspect

Quite possibly the most innovative game on the list, Murdered: Soul Suspect in a supernatural thriller that will see its hard-boiled detective protagonist solving his own murder. The plot isn't the only refreshing aspect of the game however, as it looks to be a supernatural fusing of games like L.A Noirs and Heavy Rain. Perhaps what should be most appreciated about the experience, is that while there are some demonic enemies on the other side of life, defeating them isn't a primary emphasis of gameplay. Most of your time will be spent possessing other people's bodies - without physically controlling them - to use their sight, hearing, and mind to the advantage of the protagonist. By far the most crucial aspect however, is simply gathering evidence and wrapping your mind around how it all fits into the murder. Murdered: Soul Suspect appears to be a higher budgeted version of the Nintendo 3DS exclusive Ghost Trick, which isn't a bad thing at all. Come this summer, minds will be bent and toyed with in wonderful ways.
