Another important thing that fans will have noticed about the series’ main characters is that they’re all men. Not only the protagonists themselves, but the major players in the games in general.
From Tracey De Santa to Mercedes Cortez (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City), the series has featured some prominent female characters, but they frequently take a back seat to their male counterparts.
The outcry for a female protagonist continues, and hopefully a female warrior gets her due with Grand Theft Auto 6 (whenever Rockstar decide to grace us with the game’s presence).
