Cause of Death: Assuming you aren't going for a "stamina kill", there are a number of ways to bring about The End's death: if you're quick, you can snipe him at the Ponizovje Warehouse, long before the boss fight takes place, therefore avoiding it completely. Secondly, you can move your PS2 clock forward a week in order for him to die of old age, or you can do it the hard way, by out-hunting the hunter and taking him down in the jungle. Why It's So Satisfying: Because The End is easily the most challenging and inventive boss in the entire MGS series. If you don't change up your camo and make good use of items like thermal goggles, The End will drain your stamina and take you back to the jail time and time again (he never kills you). Assuming you don't opt for one of the easier options, the first time around this battle can easily last upwards of an hour due to the harsh terrain and The End's extreme accuracy when firing tranq rounds. That moment when you finally blast him in the head enough times to take him down is so ridiculously satisfying because he's a b**** of a boss, and if you go about it the "real" way, you really need to put some hard work in to put an end to, well, The End.
