9. There Are A Lot Of New Characters

Smash Bros. is renowned for its huge roster that boarders on the excessive. Thankfully, the latest version looks set to carry on that tradition. A total of five brand new characters were unveiled for the first time during the presentation. The previously mentioned Zero Suit Samus will be joined by the the likes of Sheik (Zelda's former transformation) and everyone's favourite green dinosaur; Yoshi. More surprisingly, the Pokémon Greninja and Charizard will be playable characters this time round. Greninja first appeared in the recent Pokémon X & Y, while Charizard has appeared in previous Smash games as an Assist trophy. On top of these additions there's also the previously announced new characters such as Little Mac, the Villager from Animal Crossing, Rosalina and the Wii Fit Trainers. It looks like Super Smash Bros.' roster is shaping up to be the most eclectic in the series.
