12 Video Game Series That Are Crying Out For A Remake, Remaster Or New Entry

8. Persona 4

Persona 4
Atlus

After the incredible reception to Persona 5, we’d love to see Atlus look to the past. Originally released on PlayStation 2 (and famously spruced up with new content on the PlayStation Vita’s “Golden” version), Persona 4 is still a gripping murder mystery in JRPG clothing.

Its cast is every bit as loveable as its sequels, only Teddie is much less annoying than Morgana, and its plot takes a wildly different turn from Persona 5’s dark palaces and heart-changing antics.

If you've played the more recent entry, you'll feel right at home with dungeons to explore, Personas to tame, and what was some of the best turn-based combat until, well, Persona 5.

Here’s hoping for an HD remaster for those of us without a Vita, and that have no interest in digging out a PS2.

We'd even argue that a Switch port might be preferable, given that system's way of making grinding levels on the go so accessible.
