12 Video Game Series That Are Crying Out For A Remake, Remaster Or New Entry
7. Burnout
Dangerous Driving is great and all, and Burnout Paradise coming to Switch is cool, but how about a new Burnout title?
Another EA franchise for the list (with more to come), Burnout is a perfect showcase of next-gen tech. Sparks fly, metal crumples, and tyres are shredded, but 2008’s Paradise moved the series to an open world with mixed results.
There were few things more frustrating than missing your turn because you were trying to take out the car in front, even though the game was undoubtedly fun to play.
Put us back on circuit-based tracks rammed with jumps a la Revenge or Burnout 3, maybe with an open world to explore between races, and we’ll be so excited we’ll wrap our cars around the first piece of passing traffic we see.
We can see the carnage from a next-gen crash mode in our dreams.
