13 EASIEST Ways To Kill Bosses In Elden Ring
6. Rock Sling Those Dragons
Rock Sling may not seem like the most powerful spell in the game, but its high poise-breaking potential and comparatively low stat requirements make it a boss-buster, especially for enemies like Dragons, whose poise gets broken easily when you lock onto their heads and sling rocks at them.
The one problem with Rock Sling is that it's somewhat slower than other spells. However, given that Dragons aren't the quickest bosses in the game, and given that Rock Sling has a fairly large and forgiving striking area, they'll often hit headshots fairly consistently.
Another benefit to this strat is that the Meteorite Staff, which works best with gravity spells, can be found even at the beginning of the game. All you need to do is cross into Caelid, go to the Aeonia swamp, and find both the staff and spell in the Street of Sages Ruins. The staff also has an easily achievable Intelligence requirement of 18, which makes it way more accessible than other super-powered Magic spells.
Having a range spell with high poise damage is extremely useful in most situations, and Rock Sling has made many a run much easier for players.
