13 EASIEST Ways To Kill Bosses In Elden Ring
5. Lightning For Loretta, Godfrey, And Other Bosses
Lightning is surprisingly effective against many enemies in the game. Some of the best enemies to use lightning against include Loretta (both at Caria Manor and at the Haligtree) and Godfrey (also both his Golden Shade and physical form).
It's often a good choice for Morgott as well. Other enemies that are vulnerable to lightning include Abductor Virgins, the Farum Azula dragons, Placidusax, and more. When an enemy is surrounded by water or rain happens in the environment, enemies become more vulnerable to lightning (in contrast to fire, since fire damage is weakened by water in the environment).
Lightning pots are often the easiest to get and use, given how easy it is to farm materials for them. Lightning weapons, spells, or ashes of war are also useful depending on your build.
Since lightning pots scale with Dexterity and Strength, any build that uses both of these will benefit from using lightning against bosses. Any items that increase lightning damage, like the Lightning-Shrouding Cracked Tear in the Flask of Wondrous Physick, will also help on top of general buffs.
