Metacritic Score: 78-83 After 2013's Call of Duty: Ghosts proved to be the worst-received game of the series, few were expecting much from the Kevin Spacey-starring follow-up, Advanced Warfare. However, Sledgehammer Games gave the franchise the boost of vitality it needed by throwing Titanfall-esque veritcality into the mix, making for a multiplayer experience that's more chaotic and satisfying than ever. Sure, the campaign is still too short and Activision have failed to come up with a way to keep people playing once they Prestige, which likely explains why the game once again fell on deaf ears for a lot of stubborn gamers who simply dismissed the game on the basis of the franchise it's in. Even so, it's one of the year's best FPS titles for sure, and a remarkable entry into a franchise that most quite rightly got fed up with long ago.
