Verdun is a game that's actually been out for quite some time if you're a PC gamer, as it was released back in 2015, and if you play on the PS4 the game was released in 2016. For those on the Xbox though, this was released earlier this year, and it's with that loophole it's allowed on this list.

The Gold Hoarder achievement in Verdun tasks players with collecting all gold medals in the game ten times. Doesn't sound awful until you hear exactly what some of those gold medals are.

There's easy ones like having the most kills in a match, the most headshots, being the most efficient squad and the top player. There's some challenging ones that require you to have the best K/D while scoring over 10 kills and the most kills in a match with zero deaths. Then there's ones that require immense amount of skill like having the most headshots in the game while only having headshots, and the most shots fired without missing a single one.

On top of those are medals for the horde mode of the game, and to land one gold medal in the horde mode you need to survive to wave 10. Sounds simple, until you do the math. There's 8 different horde maps, all with a gold medal tied to them, of which you need to earn 10 times. Meaning on top of the competitive multiplayer you're going to have to survive through a minimum of 800 waves of horde, granted you do not fail a single time.

You're going to have to be a die-hard Verdun fan to long in the hours and have the skill needed to earn these medals. Currently sitting at 0.01% unlocked, it seems only the elite have put in the time and effort.
