13 Most Frustrating Aspects Of E3 That Never Change

12. Microsoft's Fetish For Big Numbers

Microsoft loves a big ol' number. Last year they centred their entire conference around announcing a massive number of games, and this year was no different. But instead of appearing impressive, it appears... haphazard.

Sure, they announced and showcased "fifty games", but of that fifty, they focussed properly... on around three. It was all a blur of pre-rendered trailers, never actually getting to gameplay and simply letting spectacle do the job.

It becomes especially annoying when they proclaim to have so many exclusives, but only really have around five that fall into the all-important platform exclusive category. It is increasingly apparent that Microsoft's focus was on hitting that fifty mark, and it didn't matter the quality of the showcase, as long as they could brag about having the biggest number.
