13 Video Games That Are Even More Frustrating Than Flappy Bird
10. Robotech: Battlecry
Released in September of 2002 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox and a month later for the GameCube, Battlecry was the first ever games based solely off of an anime. With levels spanning across land and space, Robotech easily could have been one of the best games of the sixth console generation. That is, if the controls weren't more confusing than Jaden Smith's tweets and the camera wasn't as shaky as any of the ones in the Bourne films. Control schemes on the N64 were almost easier to learn that the one for Robotech. The way that the controls were set up, a player would have to awkwardly shift their hands constantly just to move and shoot. As for the camera, the inability to accurately control it led to the player usually viewing the game's world from inside one of the many objects cluttering the terrain. This made finding enemies a chore, even bigger than that of a typical fetch-quest. As well as being extremely repetitive and having a poor learning curve (the easiest level is the tutorial, which was crazy in itself), Robotech: Battlecry is one of those games that I doubt many people have finished. Kind of like Flappy Bird, if it actually had an end.
