13 Video Games That Must Appear At E3 2017

5. Devil May Cry 5

Halo 6 E3
Capcom

It's been four years since the Devil May Cry series was rebooted with the controversial DmC, which released to positive reviews but underwhelming sales, putting the series on ice for a while.

Rumours have been swirling for some time that Devil May Cry has another entry in the works, though whether that's Devil May Cry 5 featuring classic Dante or a sequel to the divisive reboot remains to be seen.

The fact that the director of the second, third and fourth games, Hideaki Itsuno, tweeted at the end of December about announcing a new game this year, has caused many to suspect we may be getting a return to grey-haired Dante after all, and he just might be back in time for E3.

How Likely Is It?: Certainly not a sure thing, but the fan hunger is definitely there, and Capcom proved with Resident Evil 7 that they can do a fine job bringing their classic franchises back from the dead. Possible and probable, but not set in stone. 6/10
